Democratic and Republican Primary Election

Voters choose a party to vote for in the Primary Election and will receive ballots allowing them to choose between candidates only in that party. If there is a run-off later for a particular race (meaning no candidate received over 50%), voters may vote again, but they cannot switch party ballots and must vote for the same party they chose originally in the Primary Election. If a voter didn't vote in the Primary Election, they may still vote in a run-off election, and they may choose any party ballot.
