Recent events highlight the urgency. The temporary suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s show sent shockwaves through the entertainment and political spheres. While the reasons behind the suspension remain murky, many saw it as part of a broader effort to suppress voices that challenge conservative orthodoxy. Interestingly, even Senator Ted Cruz—no fan of Kimmel—acknowledged that despite their differences, Kimmel has every right to express his views. That rare moment of bipartisan agreement underscores a fundamental truth: free speech is not a partisan privilege, it’s a democratic necessity.

Though we strongly disagree with the views of far-right figures like Charlie Kirk, political assassination is NEVER acceptable. Violence has no place in our movement or in our democracy. We must confront harmful ideologies with truth, compassion, and courage—not with threats or force. Our strength lies in our ability to organize, educate, and vote—not to intimidate or destroy.
